Reader/ Associate Professor (Nursing) : 02 posts
Lecturer in Nursing : 04 posts
Application Fee : The application fees of Rs.1000/- (Rs.300 for SC/ST candidates) to be made by means of a Demand Draft drawn in favor of AIIMS Bhubaneswar payable at Bhubaneswar or payment can be made on-line /NEFT. General Instructions:
1. All the posts carry usual allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees of similar status at Bhubaneswar.
2. Upper Age Limit: 50 (Fifty) years for all positions advertised. However, relaxable for Government Servants, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or otherwise exceptionally qualified applicants up-to 5 years and 3 years in the case of Other Backward Classes candidates. Upper age limit will be taken as on closing date of submission of application.
3. The effective date up-to which the requisite experience must be completed will be 31.12.2013.
4. The candidate can submit applications online through internet only. Applications submitted/sent through postal services or otherwise shall not be entertained / accepted. The candidates must read the instructions, help manual and other details carefully before applying and follow the instructions given.
5. Separate application should be submitted for separate post along-with the prescribed fee for each post. A consolidated application each for more than one post will not be considered.
6. Incomplete application(s) will not be considered.
7. The applicants are required to submit printed copy of the online application along with self-attested certificates/ testimonials, other relevant documents viz. Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority of Govt. of India, Medical/Nursing/Dental Council Registration Certificate etc. with recent passport size photograph and documentary evidence of fees paid in a sealed envelope “Super-scribing the name of the post applied for …………….“ should reach the below mentioned address by 15th October 2013. Printed copy of the application along with the enclosures recived after 15th October 2013 shall not be entertained and the candidature of the applicant will be rejected. AIIMS Bhubaneswar is one of the six AIIMS like apex healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). With the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country, and attaining self sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and training the PMSSY planned to set up 6 new AIIMS like institutions in under served areas of the country. These institutions are being established by an Act of Parliament on the lines of the original All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi which imparts both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education in all its branches and related fields, along with nursing and paramedical training. to bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all branches of health care activity.To establish a centre of excellence in medical education, training, health care and research imbued with scientific culture, compassion for the sick and commitment to serve the under served. To develop a pattern of teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education in all its branches so as to demonstrate high standard of medical education to all medical colleges and other allied institutions in India.
