Job Description :
--> 'Database test development' group (part of the database server group of Server Technologies Division) works on the upcoming releases of Oracle database server, enveloping a wide range of technologies that include (but not limited to) RDBMS, Storage Management, XML, Real Application Clusters (RAC), Security, Replication/Streams, Queuing, Backup/Recovery, Query Optimization,
--> Transaction Management, Performance Tuning and High Availability.
The group with its state of the art development infrastructure and practices, helps shape technology that has been important for a large number of Fortune 2000 and other companies.
--> The group foresees product usage scenarios, simulates real life problems, tests the forthcoming releases of Oracle database server and ensures that the customers get the highest quality database
Key Skills :
*. B.E/M.E/M.Tech. in Computer Science / MCA from a reputed university (Preferrably from colleges part of Oracle campus list - and CGPA >= 7)
*. One to Seven years of industry experience
*. Must be good in relational database fundamentals
*. Must have worked with one or more of the commercial relational databases.
*. Must have experience in development using PL/SQL or C or Java
*. Knowledge of a scripting language like Perl is very desirable
*. Experience with Oracle database backend desirable
*. Experience in Oracle database administration is desirable
