Job Description :
Is an expert for the aspect or set of components within the domain HL7 interfaces & workflow
Creates the design for the aspect or set of components, on the basis of the detailed requirements specification, so that the component in question will be reliable, efficient, and easy to maintain
Supports creation of test strategy for the product and is responsible for the test strategy of the concerned aspect/component(s)
Gathers, defines and writes the detailed requirements specification for the aspect or set of components, based upon the system requirements specification & system design specification. Reviews module in the area of specialization.
Responsible for the design/structure consistency for an aspect (as applicable e.g. HL7, DICOM expert need not be) or set of components across development projects.
Responsible for coherent relation of own aspect or set of components with other aspects and/ or components in the source code archive.
Is responsible for giving inputs for verification and owns validation of the aspect/feature
Keeps abreast of technical / domain related developments in own field through study of literature and technical contacts.
Being a know-how source for the assigned work and improve the level of know-how with the team of (senior) engineers.
Requirements :
Skills in line with specific domain (e.g. proficiency in HL7 interoperability)
Good documentation and reporting abilities
Good communication skills.
Desired Profile Expert at C# and .NET experience, 2+ year of database experience, strong design patterns and OO design knowledge and experience, strong multi-threaded programming knowledge and experience, excellent communication kills.
2 years of hands on experience in implementing IHE standards such as HL7 profiles.
Desired Skills :
Web Services, ACE,COM, SOA, TAO, Healthcare industry related experience such as DICOM and HL7.
Experience defining a comprehensive solution that contributes toward a shared architecture;
Proven leadership and managerial skills to "independently" manage a track of work, with up to 5 people, during multiple phases of the project lifecycle.
