Responsible for monitoring the production instances for potential
performance/uptime issues and initiate corrective action to prevent
performance issues and unplanned downtime in accordance client approved change management processes.
- Installing and configuration of Oracle/SQL server,Handle bug fixes for Oracle Server software. Perform patches.
- Responsible for User Administration Activities - Account Creation/Deletion/Modification, password reset, Databases backup initiating and verifying. Troubleshooting databases Backup and restore issues.
- Maintain system & Change configuration database,Backup &Restore Management (excludes Tape handling)
- Source patches related to hardware, OS and layered system software,Administration of databases
- Monitoring databases backups, jobs for success, failure.,Monitor Blockings and Deadlocks,Monitoring Replication, Log shipping, Mirrorin,Maintaining databases inventory list. - Addition, Deletion of the servers / databases
