Knowledge & Skill requirements :
Minimum of 3 years experience in programming in Java User Interface.
Experience in development with AWT and/or HAVi Java Graphical APIs (desirable)
A software development experience in Digital TV and embedded systems
Knowledge of Java-TV ad JMF APIs would be a plus
Knowledge of embedded Java/J2ME would be a plus
Education in the Information Technology.
High self-motivation to develop professional structured software.
Good understanding of the development processes, source control, build and integration mechanisms.
Primary responsibilities :
Write technical specification from the functional specification
Implementation and maintenance of software components.
Technical documentation of software components
Unit-testing of his own components.
Estimation and planning for the tasks that he needs to achieve
Interfaces and Authority
The software development engineer will take the work from the engineering project manager.
He will work closely with other members of the development teams working in other middleware layers.
Regular contact with the test team and with the Customer Service.
