Position Title: Data Entry Operator
Summary of Position:
The Data Entry Operator will do data entry of all coded medical records in MS Excel using the hand-written coded CAT forms by the Medical coders. Monitor and implement any client feedback received towards automation or other process improvement steps. Perform ongoing analysis of the data entry process and suggest any automation / process improvement steps as applicable.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Data entry of ICD-9-CM Codes along with physician information and patient demographic details on excel sheet.
2. Data entry operator is responsible for meeting daily production goal of 300 barcodesdata entry per day.
3. Data entry operator is responsible for meeting quality data entry goal of averaging 95% accuracy rate on a monthly basis.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
Skills:
60 words per minute typing speed with alphabets and numerical keypads with accuracy of more than 95%.
Proficient in MS excel and MS Office.

Experience:
Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience in data entry.
