Job Description:
Manage and lead the revenue recognition function comprising 8-10 team members
Supervise month close activities related to revenue recognition function as per the defined target dates
Help the business as when needed to resolve revenue related queries on an ongoing basis.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and revenue recognition guidelines.
Review the reports (MD&A information which go to the street) prepared by the team before it goes to the stakeholders
Review and publish various management reports on monthly/quarterly basis.
Review and publish ad hoc request whenever requested by stakeholders.
Help the team members in resolving whenever issues arise and be a guide and mentor to the team.
Advise business on framing of contracts whenever requested from revenue recognition perspective.
Actively involved in automation activities related to revenue recognition function
