Job Description:
As the member of the NAS protocols team, the candidate will work on CIFS and networking protocol stack on the next generation AXIOM Products. The candidate will work closely with the NAS team giving him/her the opportunity to work in a fast paced, technically challenging environment.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
In collaboration with the architects, design, implement, productize and maintain certain modules of the next generation CIFS and networking features in the AXIOM products. The candidate is required to effectively lead a small team of developers. The job also requires timely resolution of assigned customer issues.
Preferred Experience:
Very Strong C programming skills, in depth multi thread programming, CIFS protocols and TCP/IP knowledge. Linux experience a plus
