Role Summary:Purpose As a Senior Analyst you will have the opportunity to work on major business initiatives that contribute to GE Capital Retail Finance’s growth and productivity objectives. This role enables you to work directly with the business in catering to the end-to-end analytical needs. You will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams and leverage state of the art tools (viz., SAS, SAS BI).
Essential Responsibilities:
• Ensure the availability, security and accuracy of GECRB Operational data.
• Provide coding for use in daily reporting and ad hoc data requests.
• Manage access to Data warehouse.
• Liaise with the reporting team and end users (local & remote) to gather requirements & build reports.
• Documentation of metadata.
• Work closely with IT on all datawarehouse related project
• Able to work with minimal direction but not afraid to ask questions when appropriate
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements • Graduate or higher in any quantitative discipline
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in the Analytics domain & working in a SAS environment
• Experience working in an Oracle/ Unix environment
• Minimum of 1 year working experience with SAS BI.
• Strong Team Player.
• Strong written/oral communication skills.
• Able to work hours that compliment US, not necessarily match but have some degree of overlap
Desired Characteristics
• Work experience in a US financial institution or bank.
• Systems Implementation experience.
• Knowledge of FDR, Verint
